  1. First off, this version of ConfMail is really only being released at this
  2. time because I am also releasing the source code.  The version has not been
  3. tested as much as previous versions of ConfMail, but it seems to be running
  4. quite well anywhere that has been testing it.  I guess what I am trying to
  5. say is "Don't delete your old ConfMail.Exe quite yet."  I don't anticipate
  6. problems, but you never know.

  9. This archive contains three files:
  10.  
  11.    READ.ME      - this file
  12.    CONFMAIL.EXE - ConfMail version 3.3
  13.    CONFMAIL.DOC - The documentatation for ConfMail.

  15. One important thing to note is that this version defaults to using the
  16. PK series of programs for arc/unarc functions.  The changes are:

  18.     ARC X  changed to  PKXARC
  19.     ARC A  changed to  PKARC -OCT A
  20.  
  21. It is recommended that only PK series programs revision 3.5 (or above) be used.

  24. The last couple of pages of the documentation also describe other differences
  25. between this version and earlier versions of ConfMail.
